Master predator, cannibal and scavenger, the Nile crocodile has few peers among other animals. It can change its diet in a day from mammals to mollusks...The crocodile's vicious jaw is actually a clamp more than a biting, slashing weapon, getting a firm grip on a victim. With powerful tail strokes, the crocodile rolls over and over in the water until the prey drowns. Then it rips the prey up and eats it...
